Here is a little bit about us from Owner and Medical Aesthetician Tonya Crete:
I believe that everything happens for a reason. Almost nine years ago, I had a life altering experience which changed everything for me, including my career of ten years in the fitness industry where I experienced finding a passion in life that I could call “work”. I believe this to be rare, and to lose it all due to an unfortunate circumstance was detrimental. But, I was unwilling to settle for anyone to tell me what I could or could not do. A dear friend of mine asked me one day to do her makeup for a wedding. While I prepped her skin she said to me; “Tonya, why don’t you go to school and do this?”. That was the moment when I had decided that I was going to do my research. The following week I had my interview at Canadian Beauty College and ten months later I received Honors in several Medical Aesthetic Certificates. I fell in love with the theory behind skin and what it is. We as Medical Aestheticians, study the behavior of skin and treat the skin from what we understand of that behavior. Now, one year later, I can say that I have found my second passion in life that I call “work”.
