Jillian, a native New Zealander (or “Kiwi”) comes from a family of builders. Her father built houses and her brother is a cabinetmaker/developer in Sydney, Australia. She learned her way around a construction site at an early age, and has renovated, remodeled, and sold more than half dozen homes.
Jillian immigrated to Canada in 1982 and had the privilege of becoming a citizen soon after. She raised a family while operating a business to care for adults with physical and mental disabilities. She then spent 10 years employed at several of Vancouver’s leading law firms, earning a Corporate Paralegal designation. The legal profession is a challenging environment; working to deadlines, being well organized, and assuring a high level of product and client service – all necessities of a good realtor! Experience in law, a family background in construction, and a desire to be challenged and help others, are what motivated Jillian to make a career in real estate. On a personal note, family and fitness are important to Jillian though finding the time for exercise is always a challenge!
