Dr Helen Qiao is a registered Chinese medicine practitioners( acupuncturist and Herbalist) in BC of Canada, and graduated of university of China medical in 1982. She practiced TCM and acupuncture for 31 years in China and Canada. She has worked at Chinaherbs and Canaherb in Metrotown of Burnaby as a TCM.P more than 12 years and treated various ethnic groups of more than thirty thousand patients, and accumulated a large amount of rich experience through long time practicing.
Our basic service will be the provision of treatment for a variety of health conditions using TCM, acupuncture and its adjunctive modalities. These TCM will also include: acupuncture moxibustion, cupping, scraping, tui na, magneto therapy, and both internal taking and external applying Chinese herbal medicines. Acupuncture refers to the insertion of fine needles into particular points on the body selected according to the theories and principles of Chinese medicine for the purpose of restoring balance to the functioning of the body and its internal organs. Depending on patient condition, we will be able to use the body acupuncture, scalp acupuncture, ear acupuncture, and abdominal acupuncture etc, and its adjunctive modalities are relatively painless and free from side effects and can provide both remedial and preventive care. We use only the finest, sterile, disposable needles and try to employ the gentlest, least painful needle technique.
