Growing with Musik offers Musikgarten music classes for young children from babies to primary students. This educational and fun program helps kids develop skills needed for playing instruments but also helps them develop socially and get ready for school. Families are a very important part of our program and parents or caregivers participate with the child in engaging activities where they move, sing, learn musical games and play simple instruments.
Family Music for Babies is a gentle class where babies and caregivers bond through lullabies, rhymes, dancing and learning that instruments make various sounds. Family Music for Toddlers is a more dynamic class geared for our little "movers and shakers". We dance, sing, play various rhythm instruments to the beat and develop our imaginations. Cycle of Seasons celebrates the preschooler's love for nature and her/his growing independence through musical activities focused on the seasons. These classes are designed to build attention, creativity, and self-expression. For the school age child, we offer Musik Makers and Piano Partners. Musik Makers is a class where children have fun while learning to read musical notes and rhythms. It is a wonderful introduction to Piano Partners, where your child can come with a friend and together they can learn to play keyboards. Contact us today for more information!
