I had starter problems on my Yamaha outboard, pull it out and saw that maybe i needed new brushes installed. Took it to Macs and immediately was greeted and taken care of. Dan the shop rebuilder in the back took a look at it and started fondling it with the precision of a safe {expletive} saying that it felt good to him. Just the same he asked if we had a few minutes to take a peek for himself. Finding nothing out of the ordinary (which I guess is good news) he took the time to clean up a few things and put it back together with a clean bill of health. Handed it over........NO CHARGE! Took the time to explain what could be causing the problem and ultimately suggested that if we can't identify the trouble to bring in the boat. Wow, what a great suggestion. Hopefully we don't need to - Talk about going above and beyond!
