Raffaele Village & Cafe

The Village Cafe is my new favorite restaurant! Having discovered the warm, friendly, very relaxed atmosphere, and the home-made muffins (including some that are wheat and sugar-free) from scratch, and all the vegan soups and sandwiches and chai latte - whew! I am now in heaven. It is a great spot for moms and children- with couches and toys, and also with James who runs the cafe who is a super friendly guy and who delights children with his puppets behind the counter. There are also performances for children in a huge room attached to the cafe, on Saturdays. A group called Three Funny Hats, who do storytelling and music for kids swing open those doors and all the children pile in. It is amazing to see the parade of kids arriving on Saturday morning. This cafe feels like a real community gem. I am so glad I found it!
