Chicopee Ski & Summer Resort celebrates 77 years of providing skiing enjoyment to the people of the communities of Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph and surrounding areas (Snowboarding came in 1995/1996). Chicopee is proud to be one of Ontario’s most popular ski & snowboard family centres. Since 1934, Chicopee has been a beacon for snow enthusiasts of all ages. This is the third year that my son's school has taken advantage of Chicopee's ski and snowboard facilities. When the form came out, my son insisted (that would be the gentle way of phrasing it) that I sign him up again. He loves the snowboard hills even though he would not be considered a "Winter" person. My younger son is completely annoyed that the program doesn't start until grade 4 and he is still in grade 3. Thus my elder son has 4 Thursdays that he is looking forward to waking up for (2 in January and 2 in February).
