Description

Started over 30 years ago C.P. Systems is a pioneer in both the Cathodic Protection and Hydro Vac Excavation construction business. We have provided numerous municipalities and companies around North America with a professional, high quality, and cost effective service.
OUR MISSION Continue to be an industry leader in Cathodic Protection and stay competitive in the ever growing Hydro Vac Excavation business. Cathodic Protection Cathodic Protection is a method used to control the amount of corrosion that occurs on a metal surface by converting the anodic sites on metallic surfaces into cathodic by introducing electrical current from an alternate source. One of the most common sources used are galvanic anodes, which are more active than steel. This practice is also referred to as a sacrificial system, since the galvanic anodes sacrifice themselves to protect the structural steel or pipeline from corrosion. Hydro Vac Excavation Underground utilities are becoming more and more congested as they are adapted to accommodate higher demands. This has lead to increasing safety as well as financial concerns when there us a need to locate and expose such utilities. Numerous municipalities and private contractors within Ontario have depended on our speed, safety, and experience. We provide Vacuum excavation for numerous applications from underground utility locates, water main breaks / leaks, sewer and culvert flushing to major excavations and dig ups. A 24 hr emergency Vacuum truck is also available upon request. Valve Retrofit Every water system has valves—devices that regulate, stop, or start the flow of water in the distribution lines. Being able to operate these valves at a moment’s notice is extremely important. In an emergency, sections of a distribution system may need to be shut down without delay. However, municipalities throughout North America are faced with aging water distribution systems and are not able to complete all of the maintenance that is required. If a valve is not used over a period of time it can seize-up from corrosion and get stuck, making the valve inoperable.
