The YD Course with Road Test (Not in High School) We will book your Road test directly with ICBC Our exclusive Collisionfree Approach to defensive driving is taught by one of our highly trained YOUNG DRIVERS Instructors. All our full YD programs includes our exclusive Emergency Manoeuvers lessons completed in the car which focuses on head-on collision avoidance and rear crash avoidance techniques. YD Program includes: YD Program includes: - 16 classroom hours of the dynamic YD Collisionfree Approach Theory - 4 hours of our exclusive BC eLearning - flexible and convenient online learning component - 12 hours Private In-Car Lessons teaching 55 skills and developing lifelong defensive driving habits (includes our YD Emergency Manoeuvers) - the course, including classroom time and driving lessons, takes a minimum of 7 months to complete - Voluntary CogniFit provides cognitive assessment and training program will help make you become a safer driver and help your memory - FREE Co-driver Online Support to help guide and support the coach with home practice - Road Test Package; includes 45 min warm up, use of YD car for test and drop off - YOUNG DRIVERS will schedule your road test appointment IMPORTANT: ONCE YOU HAVE ATTENDED YOUR FIRST CLASSROOM, Young Drivers will book your road test. The course requires a minimum of 7 months to complete. The 7 months begins at the first classroom session. (Classroom time and driving lessons 7 months) ICBC GLP COURSE INCENTIVES: - Graduates receive 6 months off their "N" stage! - High School Students are GST exempt! - High School Students receive 2 High School Credits! -Course must be completed in the "L" stage and student must meet ICBC's requirements - YD Certificate of Completion - looks great to employers and when moving out of province! - ICBC-approved driver training course - With Road Test Preparation - Includes 45 min warm up lesson, use of YD car for test and drop off (ICBC Fees not included)
