Our seafood vendors are carefully selected to ensure all our fish and shellfish are from clean waters and caught using methods which do not harm other species or the surrounding environment. Our farmed seafood does not contain antibiotics or hormones. Apart from serving the finest sustainably caught seafood, we know exactly where, when and how all our fish was caught. You know it's got to be a solid place to eat given the number of police, EMS and municipal workers who can always be found there! This diner has charm - the deco style is homey, and the regulars and staff all know each other well (I'm not a regular - yet - but the few times I've been there I was taken by how friendly a place it is). Customers are inside and out on the makeshift patio all day long. The menu is simple - diner and Greek-style food. I haven't had anything sub-par there - but bear in mind, it's diner food, not gourmet. The burgers are satisfying and fresh; the fries are a blast from the past - very crispy outside, perfectly cooked inside, and served up in a way that reminds me of diners when I was a kid - diner plates, minimalist presentation. Prices are very reasonable, and it's very clean. Decent coffee, too.
