The WCHA is an association dedicated to the well-being of, and protecting the rights of all homeowners in the community. Some of the more important functions of the WCHA include:
· Communicating with management regarding maintenance of common grounds and buildings and operations of the community
· Allocating space and time for the many activities
· Supporting various groups with major purchases if needed
· Communicating with members of government departments at all levels on matters relating specifically to us
· Organizing an entertainment-oriented social calendar including dances, parties, concerts, and special events
· Working with management regarding safety measures for the residents
· Arranging of wellness and safety seminars
· Providing low cost photo copying for homeowners
· Maintaining a computer database of residents and residences
· Producing a telephone directory compiled from database
· Arranging for the production of a newsletter for homeowners on a regular basis to report on news of community activities and provide information on upcoming events
