Normally I would recommend the Purple Perk as an excellent place to go for coffee, a delicious treat or a quick bite to eat but this last week we have been turned away twice from the Purple Perk completely disappointed. They have a signboard on the sidewalk in front of their business and it had been advertising a open faced hot turkey sandwich with fixings. It sounded amazing and was extremely reasonably priced at $8.95, however when we went in and tried to order we were told the kitchen had closed early. Discouraged we went elsewhere and decided to try again another day. We went back a couple of days later and again tried to order the open faced hot turkey sandwich which was advertised on their sidewalk sign. This time we were told they could not make this item as they did not have any turkey. It was not late in the afternoon, it was around 1pm on a Saturday. If you don't have the item you are advertising then why not bring in the sign from the street?
