Our goal is to stimulate the children with play and social interaction that contributes to developing emotional, physical, social, intellectual and creative skills with in each individual child.
Our staff accomplish great service by maintaining a 50% structured 50% child choice program, that takes into account different developmental levels, multiculturalism, abilities and needs of each child and is able to encourage, enhance, guide and address them positively and consistently. Our Programs: Green Room – 12 to 19 months old Purple Room – 19 months to 3 years old Orange Room – 3 to 4.5 years old Yellow Room – 4.5 to 6 years old Out of School Care room kindergarten to 12 years old Green Room – 12 to 19 months old Green Room maintains a quality care ratio of 1:4 as your baby explores and becomes a toddler. Teachers will support your child as they learn to walk, expand their vocabulary, and start eating on their own. Purple Room – 19 months to 3 years old Purple Room provides a safe and engaging environment as personalities develop and your child becomes more mobile and independent. Still in diapers and needing an extra hand, a 1:6 ratio ensures the best care. Toddlers will spend lots of time playing games, developing their creativity and learning to share. Orange Room – 3 to 4.5 years old Children spend lots of time exploring, reading, doing crafts, and playing games in our Orange Room. Orange Room helps as your child develops friendships, confidence and independence. Teachers maintain a 1:8 ratio as they help prepare your child for our Yellow Room. Yellow Room – 4.5 to 6 years old Yellow Room sets your child up for success. Children are growing quickly as they get ready for kindergarten! Field-trips are a favourite with a 1:5 ratio for the best experience while Yellow Room has a 1:10 ratio while in the centre. Out of School Care room kindergarten to 12 years old Come join the fun in our out of school program! We transport children to and from Turner Valley and Black Diamond. We also offer a summer program. The ratio in this room is 1 to 15.
