I worked at a group home where alot of the youth participated in this program. This is a great idea. It takes people who are of working age, and not in school, and prepares them for the work force. They write up resumes, learn about what it takes to survive in the world, and then they are set up with a summer job for job experience. It really is great. I had two youth thrive in this program and end up getting part time jobs through out the school year from it. If you have a child who isn't in school but over the age of 16, this is perfect for them.
