Ok, this looks like a Latino grocery store on the outside, and it is. You have to walk through the grocery store to the back and you will find one of the best kept secrets in Winnipeg. The small dining room serves authentic El Salvador cuisine- very yummy. Very informal. Just a few tables (mismatched) and the menu is a white board on the wall with a number of "specials". Includes platters with tamals, pupusas, tacos, burrities, quesadillas, etc. The last time I was they even had a turkey sandwich (seasoned with special seasonings). I was curious, but stuck to the specials. They are under new ownership (within the past couple of months), but have gone to the restaurant under both owners and found the food and service exceptional! Excellent!
