Soffit – The underside of the roof eaves (overhangs). Fascia – The wide strip around the bottom edge of a roof that caps the ends of the roof rafters. Eavestrough – The gutters that collect rain water from roofs. Down Spouts – The tubes that connect to the gutters and direct water away from the building.
