We use a state-of-the-art Ingersol Rand screw-type compressor that operates at a steady 130CFM
We have four, brand new, self contained, blasting cabinets ranging in sizes up to an 8ft long and 4ft wide, dual hose cabinet which is great for doors, fenders, differential housings, etc. It being a dual station machine allows two people to blast one item simultaneously, getting the job done faster. Another machine is set up for shot-peening and offers a turntable set up with external tracks, so you can set your block on the turntable (using our cherry picker), run it into the cabinet on the track system and you are ready to peen or glass bead you block or heads without having to flip them manually. You simply rotate the turntable. No smacked fingers this way. - All cabinets are equipped with high efficiency air filters and re-claimers, media is re-used and all is recyclable or environmentally inert. Even the coolant in the air compressor is bio-degradable. Solar powered headsets for the customers to use. - All personal protective equipment is available if requested. NP 95 masks with exhaust vents, full face shields, foam type ear plugs as well as over the ear style headphones and AM\FM headphones are also available. - Media types include walnut shell, glass bead, steel shot, aluminum oxide, and crushed garnet. *** No silica sand is ever used. *** NO greasy parts are allowed in the blast equipment. Make sure your parts are reasonably clean before bringing them in! *** We have a showroom to relax in and TV to watch, a fridge is available for use as well.
